Lorri Hanna, MA, ACC
Transformational Coach, Parent Coach
Over the past 30 years, I have brought my creative expression and spirit to everything I do. I have mentored and facilitated personal growth journeys and transformative experiences for people around the world. In 1997, I co-founded a one-of-a-kind wilderness therapy program for adolescents and young adults and helped pioneer the parallel process for parents by offering coaching and workshops while their child was in wilderness therapy.
As your parent coach, I walk this journey with you. I help shine a light on what is possible, supporting your empowerment, personal growth, co-parenting relationships, and evolving family dynamics.
Throughout my career as a program director, clinical director, wilderness therapist, transformational coach, and soulful guide, I have held a strong commitment to meeting people on their healing path as they reclaim their true selves. My work draws on best practices and extensive experience supporting individuals and families navigating learning differences and trauma.
I believe a loving presence invites our innate capacity for healing, self-acceptance, and love. With an adventurous spirit, I lead journeys of self-discovery through nature immersions, expressive arts, and coaching experiences that help people reconnect with their inner wisdom and purpose. My work centers on the quiet, transformative practice of servant leadership and personal growth, supporting others in cultivating an authentic and deeply connected life.
I hold a master’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation, with postgraduate work in counseling psychology. I am a Certified Deep Transformational Coach, trained through the Institute for Life Coach Training and the Center for Transformational Coaching, and I serve as Community Director and Learning Leader for the Holding Space course at the Center for Transformational Coaching. I am also credentialed as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation.
I am trained as a psychotherapist, movement practitioner, and nationally certified therapeutic recreation specialist, and I guide global transformational journeys and trekking adventures. As a creative healer and intuitive artist, I am also trained in Embodiment with Azul, a conscious movement practice and path of personal transformation.
Throughout my life, and as a parent, I have walked my own path of transformation, turning discomfort into possibility, shifting ways of being, and learning to trust my inner wisdom. I invite parents to step into possibility, recognize effort and successes, and learn to parent in ways that honor their child’s temperament. When we are willing to step into our own discomfort and take ownership of where we are, meaningful change becomes possible, and we can offer a new experience for our families.
“As you navigate your greatest potential, I hold space with love, intention, presence, and fierce compassion.”
I love wandering in nature, making art, photography, adventure travel, and dancing.
