Meet Hilary Moses, MSW
Hilary Moses, MSW
Co-Founder, Owner & Parent Coach
Since 2001, I have supported adolescents, young adults, and their families in uncovering their strengths and challenging the victim mentality — so they can step into agency over their own lives. Over 15 years as a wilderness therapy field staff member, therapist, and clinical director at two nationally renowned programs, I walked alongside families through grief, upheaval, and ultimately, toward a new strengths-based way of seeing themselves and each other. Since 2014, I have worked as a parent coach, guiding parents to develop the courage to authentically self-assess and steward their families forward with grace and intention.
“My coaching style values authenticity, integrity, and the importance of facing discomfort with intention and awareness.”
My clinical and personal work has long been shaped by themes of adoption and attachment — I am an adoptee myself, and that experience has deepened my understanding of identity, connection, and the relational dynamics that shape families in profound ways. I bring that lens into everything I do.
I have been a stepparent since 2008, which keeps me a constant learner and pushes me to practice what I preach. The real, daily work of co-parenting in a blended family and sustaining a marriage through it all has taught me more than any graduate course could. It keeps me honest, humble, and deeply motivated.
I graduated with my MSW in 2002 from Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, following my undergraduate studies at Muhlenberg College. I served as adjunct faculty in the Master of Social Work program at Arizona State University’s Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions, and I am the co-author of H.O.M.E: Strategies for Making Home a SUCCESS During and After Treatment, published in 2023. I am a national speaker and presenter and have facilitated hundreds of workshops and family seminars across the country.
I live in Tucson, Arizona with my husband. Our two young adult sons are off on their own adventures.
